make sure the surface and edges of the rotor were not damaged, otherwise I'd say you're ok. I've had it happen, not on my mustang, but it didn't hurt anything. What kind of jack were you using? I'd also make sure that there is no damage where the jack was, if it got pinnned between the ground and the car.

It was the jack that the came w/ the car...but i realized just now my ebrake wasn't fully up as well...also something got bent really bad, the thing that is used to hook the car to a tow truck/flat bed. i am worried about the alignment now.

You will have bent the rotor dust shield for sure. Actually, does the rear have that? I cannot see the suspension bending, just not enough force invovled. Rotor damaged, yup, I would say it could be.

Man, not to get too preachy, but if all that happened were a few bent pieces, consider yourself lucky as you seemed to have committed a litany of what not to do when jacking your car up.
Suggestions:
Should use trunk jack for on-road emergencies. Use a proper floor jack for maintainence and modding.
Always use jack stands of some sort.
Triple check that your brakes are properly set.
Chock the wheels so the car can't move regardless of the brakes.
Make sure you're on level ground so the car doesn't shift.
You are lucky you weren't changing to oil or something or that bent piece would have been your skull. I'm glad you're all right as the car can always be fixed up.

when i'm jacking a car up.. once it's where i want it... I toss the tire i'm taking off under the frame of the car just in front of (if the rear) the wheel well.. this way if the car slides off the stands or jack while i'm under it.. i have a nice rim and tire to hold the car up.. rims = cheap
just be happy the car didn't land on your legs
