The MYCOLOR dash is different in the V6 and V8 So if the V6 dash is the problem this will not speed up GT production. If its not the dash what is it the alum. trim pieces? I can't believe they can't knock out as many of these as they need. I think if its that its a ton of money lost to Ford. This is a $400+ option. If there profit is only $100. per unit, if half are V6 and half have the upgrade that would be 48,750 units or a loss of 4.8 million dollors in profit. For some trim pieces. I'm glad I'm not incharge of that operation.

I'll need to borrow that if the Yanks lose tonight ...
Ya had to bring it up!

I have been riveted, and I still think they got robbed last night rules or not.

Hey, we agree on something again

I don't see how him hitting the players arm is any different from a player crashing into a catcher at home ... or on a take-out slide at second ... stupid rule.

anyway

Its not necessarily any different. The Mycolor is probably just some lighting behind some cutouts of the gauges and such, so if they arent using it for the v6, that would leave more for GTs... since the lighting would be the same, its just the cutouts that would be different.

i think that this should affect the GT's more than it is. The v6 keeps gettin the shaft, on EVERYTHING. And last time i checked, more V6's are sold than GT's annualy.

Just talked to the GM at my dealer & he said that mine should be ok since it's clean, unscheduled. He said that when the computer looked at the order & then sent it on and gave it that status on 9/30. He also said that it may just be that the co who Ford buys those components from is behind on resuppling Ford. And it may just be a temp thing until Ford can get more parts in.

Also, it's not a question on if or when Ford gets the parts. My order is supossed to be expodited. Bucause it's a replacement from Ford due to the aformentioned Lemon.(see my earlier post)

So, I am going with what the GM said that my car will come with the IUP. If it comes in & doesn't then I will decide what I want to do. I will either take it & drive it for a month or so & trade it in or I will flat out refuse to accept it. Depends on what mood I'm in that day.

BTW: Matt. When I told them I wanted 17' rims the paper the dealer sent me showed that it should be offered. But I orginially told him the 16's with the spinners which comes std on the Prem. anyway. So, either way I can live with that. They can be replaced later. IUP is another story.
Cheers Mates

Lets not divide this web page. You sound like John Kerry dividing us. Its not the V6 vs V8.
Grantsdale you must be right on the assembly of the MYCOLOR.

i dont see how that is off topic, or what is wrong with saying the v6 is getting shafted this year(ex. manual transmission, IUP). And it's true that the V6 out sells the V8. This isnt an attempt to make everyone to choose V6 vs. V8, it's simply stating the facts.

lol.

Correct, lets not make it a V6 vs. V8 battle. That is just not cool. I have concluded that BOTH are GREAT cars and I would be happy with both of them.

The interferance call was made because the runner swatted the ball out of the glove of the defender when the defender was not in the base runners line. If a defender is in the baseline then yes by all means it is legal to knock his lights out. This was a close call because the defender was "on his way to the base line" just not quite there yet.

ok, i guess i need to clarify. I have nothing against the GT, i would prefer to have the GT but i just cant afford the car and the insurance that goes along with it. My point was that all of these delays should effect both models equally, i just dont understand why FORD chooses to single out the v6. And the last thing i want is this thread to be a battle field, this is new, good info and i dont want it overwhelmed with pety fights.

None of this makes sense to me. All of the brochures and order guides say it will be available.

Not only was Arroyo's arm in the baseline, but Mieca... however you spell it ... was standing in the baseline in A-Rod's way. If he hadn't been there, A-Rod wouldn't have had to slow down and would easily have made it past the tag.

Smallerpurpleants if I follow this thread the answer to your question is however you spell it ... was standing in the baseline in A-Rod's way. If he hadn't been there, A-Rod wouldn't have had to slow down and would easily have made it past the tag. There I hope that clears it up once and for all!

Wow..After reading this whole thread, I have come to the conclusion that I may have something that might someday be rare, (provided this is all true). I took possession of my V6 that was produced the first week of production with the IUP yesterday.

BTW, it is a very cool option.

I show temp hold on my IUP as of the 14th, but I'll be calling on Friday to see if that's cleared up...
