After getting the runaround from my local dealer, I ordered from Karpro. It's a bit of a drive from Long Island but I'm sure I'll enjoy every minute of the drive home in my new GT. Plus, for all the valuable info he provides to this forum, I'm happy to give him my business.

That's good, I would've loved to have done the same thing, but 1400 miles is a long drive, even in the new stang. I'm glad to see that we support each other.

Don't give up just yet. I FINALLY got pulled last night. You've got to be close. I'm definately keeping my open for a black auto GT though. I actually feel guilty about getting pulled before you, almost like I'm cutting in line. Who knows yours might still end up here before mine. I'll let you know if I see anything, I've been looking.

That's what I'm thinking. There seems like a ton of people who have been waiting for a long time (including myself ) who were pulled this week.

Something or somebody must have really kicked you-know-what into somebody somewhere.

 

Good for you too. It seems like a lot of us got pulled yesterday. Hopefully that's not going to create a backlog of problems at the factory. Maybe they just pulled us to make us happy and it'll still be another 3 months before we get a build date. Oh well, at least we're making progress.

 

Hi there, Mustangshadow is my husband. I want our order to get a build date so bad. I love Mustangs too, I enjoy working on and cleaning our 65 stang together. As you know, we ordered in Oct. and the wait is really starting to get to him and I. Its the unknowing part that eats at you. I do not like to see him so upset, and our dealer doesn't make it any better. I pray that our order gets pulled soon. I keep talking him out of canceling our order. I think the wait will be worth it, I just hope we get good news soon. Our dealer says our order is first and no one is ahead of us, and we are priority 10. I want my Hub to be happy and have the car he wants, he tries to hard. Just thought I would let you know how I feel, thanx for listening.

I feel for mustangshadow and hope he gets a date soon. Do you claim the 65 as "yours" as my wife does ours?

If I were you guys I would be beating the you-know-what out of the dealer about the hold up and see if he could talk to someone up the food chain.

 

Thanx. I do feel like kicking our dealer in the.....it is just so frustrating trying to talk to them. Actually I do consider the 65 "Ours", its something we enjoy together.

 

I consider the 65 as "ours" also. Love driving and working on it. But I just have to wonder why my wife insisted her name be put on the title first?

Really I've known her since we were kids (and our 25th anniversary is next month) and the the old pony Mustang were always her favorite for as long as I have known her

 

Wow, I always thought it is proper to have the Man's name first on the title. Thats the way ours is, I like it that way too. It just seems right for his name to be first.

 

Since it was her "dream car" it was fine with me. My wife says that to tell you that "dreams really do come true" and I say "don't give up".

 

Just got off the phone and the "as of" date just updated, "as of 2-3" still c/u.

 

Same here Oh well, at least some people are making progress.

 

well i appreciate all you fellow TMS members and truely couldnt imagine what this wait would be like without these forums and seeing all the things you guys and girls go through. I see my wife posted on here while i was at work i know i am getting on her nerves. Just that i really had my hopes up this week more so than ever with the 100% IUP getting pulled and all i told my wife after i seen that, that i felt really good about Friday ......man what a let down i think the worst let down to date actually dont know how many more of those i can take.... i know this all probably sounds crazy to most people, but at least here amongst fellow stangers i believe most of you understand. oh well ..we'll see what happens next week.

Here in the north, i ordered my vert on jan 5 and got this news today:

Your new baby was conceived last night.
She will ever more be known as 1ZVHT85H355172201.
She appears to be in good health (including IUP and Side Airbags).
We will get a due date soon.
