That is good news! Vert in the north ordered Jan 5 getting pulled.... ordered my vert in michigan on the 14th, i think i may be a week or two out? fingers and toes crossed... :bang:

 

I am also clean and unscheduled as of 2/3/05. Now moving into te 10th week. (see signature).

Still C & U as of Feb. 3. Is there a chance that as of Feb. 4, it'll be serialized?

 

They usually do the pulls overnight Thursday into friday. I'm afraid you'll need to wait until the 10th.

Hang in there though I think your getting close because they pulled alot of October and November orders this week. Maybe you'll be next because you ordered towards the end of November.

P.S. Just make sure your dealer has available allocations with nobocy ahead of you.

 

Oh by the way. I noticed you did not have your DORA received in your sig.

The dealer can print it a day or two after he submits your order.

 

Mines been serialized!!! I called the dealer friday and he said there was nothing new. I called last night at home just to make sure and I almost fell over. I guess he overlooked the VIN, and was looking for a build date. That plus the fact I haven't called him since the friday after I ordered it (Jan 7). I was a little worried because just a week or two ago they got about 6 V6's. That made me wonder when their next batch would get built, because they are a small-medium sized dealer and have received most of their original allotment by now according to the numbers he gave me. He did say if the keep selling them as fast as the get them they could possible get more. Not that I'm in a particular hurry as I need to sell my truck first, but the sooner the better.

 

What else will the DORA show me that I need? I've got the order confirmation sheet. My dealer did tell me that I'm next in line. I'm first in line and another order w/o IUP is 2nd in line. He was claiming last Wednesday that there were still IUP problems and that it didn't look like my car would be built anytime soon. As long as all IUP problems are over, I should be the next Mustang built for my local dealership unless my salesman is blatantly lying.

 

I wasn't sure if the "unspoken number" gave an update on Thursday before or after the pulls. That's why I thought there was a possibility of the update as of Friday being better news.

 

First there is a "confirmation sheet" which is a receipt that the order went through to the Ford computer. I got one of those first. Next is the DORA (Dealer Order Recept Acknowledgement). This has all the info regarding package codes priorities and such. First you are clean/unscheduled which means there are no color or option combination problems submitted by your dealer.

Your dealer can get a "status report" on your car. They can print this through "Concepts" online.

Call the number Friday afternoon or Saturday.

 

Congrats on your pull CME. Your dealer should have your pull week info this week.

 

No change in status for me. I talked to the inventory manager for my dealership yesterday (very large dealer in the southwest); he said he expected 4 of his Mustang orders to be pulled Thursday night, but as I was talking to him yesterday he looked at them all online and said there was no indication *any* were pulled. :scratch: He said there are still 8 orders ahead of me; so it looks like another couple of weeks before I can even hope to be pulled. Oh well, at least I'm still in line. And BTW, my salesman has never called or contacted me in the (almost) eight weeks since I placed my order - I'm the one who initiates the inquiries into the status of my order.

 

Dealer called this morning. Build date is 28 Feb 05.

Dealer called 2/5, build date of 2/12, that's a Saturday?? Ordered 11/3, IUP/ICAP/Torch Red GT. Still talking mid-March delivery. That long to Southwester Ohio?

 

It's good to see orders moving ahead for a bunch of us! I'm happy for you guys/gals. I know the wait can be frustrating to say the least.
