Aerial attack! What else?

Put me on record as wanting a glass roof. Some of the birds around here are big!

Personally, I've had a sunroof on my last three cars and I love it. The benefits of light and air like a convertable without all the weight of the chassis stiffening required for a convertable. What's not to like? Well...except if you want to stripe your roof...

Anyone think this will be available in anyway as an aftermarket upgrade from Ford? Any chance they'll do it for under 5k? lol

I agree.. kind alike HID lights, once you've had a car with it, it's hard to not want to get it on the next car.

Actually, it's already been an aftermarket option, though not from Ford themselves.

And I've seen really nice stealth installs of the glass roof with striping. It's kind of a doppled striping on the glass itself and doesn't obstruct much all the while looking rather non-glass-like from the outside. I think that was from Classic Design Concepts. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they sold their research and designs to Ford who then tweaked them for production.

you can buy mods, but it costs more than 2k for a cdc glassback installed.

Topnotch - Thanks for the great pictures! I'm assuming that was from Detroit? (wow I really want those wheels from the Bullitt....)

Was that rollout sunshade a 100% light block or a dense screen mesh? The new Mini Coopers with the giant sunroof have a screen mesh that IMHO doesn't block enough light - that'd be my only worry with the glassback option.

Not 100%...If you look at the pic you can see the ceiling lights from COBO Hall faintly seeping through.

Is it bad that I pray for my mustang to get totalled by a weather calamity in the parking lot in 2009 so I can get this car?
