I think the coupe looks far better than the glassback, especially with the louvers. I also think the glassback is too expensive. If I had the choice back when I bought my GT, I would still get the vert again. The glassback is a half-arsed in-between option thats way too expensive.

For that price it should tilt up and slide back.

I find it funny that more and more vehicles are going with these large glass roof themes and at the same time our ozone is depleting and letting in more & more damaging UV rays. I do love the glass roof look though!

It covers the whole roof. Where do think it would slide back to... out over the back window? No thanks.

That looks great! I love that it has the built-in shade too. A great option at a good price.

Ever seen a Porsche Targa?? Its glass roof slides back under the rear window. Why is that so difficult to conceptualize?

I feel the same. I never liked anything done to a regular roof. Sunroofs, moonroofs, skylights, glass tops, observation bubbles.......blah blah blah

but, as i can see here, it'll be a big seller.

cool option...little pricey....I think it could pull away from a retro look in some cases though but deffinetely a cool option. Will the Shelby's be able to get this option? GT and GT500??? Bullitt???

well now i am ****ed. i want that roof really bad. i would figure there has to be a way to replace the roof in the case of collision parts. i dont care if it costs me 5k my car will have one. because cdc's looks terriblem and i dont know what it would take to have saleen put theirs on my car. I agree it would be nice if it opened, but i'll deal.

I don't think it will be a popular item in Phoenix in the summer unless that glass is heavily tinted.

I'd love to have one but I'm not willing to let go of my 05 any time soon.

Looks great, great option in lieu of a proper sunroof. A touch pricey at $2K, but looks great and should really lighten and brighten up the interior.

This should help perk up the Stangs sagging sales,- nothing like real competition and flagging sales to get the Stang development out of its torpor. Now for some real meat though (DOHC, 5.4, IRS, better brakes, etc)

this is one of those options that really gets you thinking about getting a new stang or atleast wishing you waited.. i like it, lets me believe i'm driving the giugiaro mustang concept!!

but at the end of the day, I wont be letting go of my 07 anytime soon...

I agree 100%. The light is great, but on a nice day fresh air would be what I was looking for. I ended up trading in the Convertible because it rattled too much, but this would be the perfect option if it opened.

I'd add the Scion TC as another example of a way to get a glass roof to open.
