After 11 long weeks on order, my 07 Alloy GT Vert finally came home yesterday!

every 07 option except GT app and Shaker 1000...

I wasnt sure about the color at first.. but now that ive seen it in person.. I LOVE IT! Its almost black in the shade, and a gun metal grey in the sun... awesome.

Congrats!! I was thinking about that color myself, but after dealing with cleaning my black 05 for the last couple of years (and not at home due to water rationing) I decided to go red Looks very nice though!

Normally, I don't care for the Satin IUP, but even *that* looks good in there to me!

Cool car and great photos! That color was very tempting to me, too, but I ended up going with Tungsten. Still, Alloy is one sharp color.

Out of curiosity, do you know why your wait was 11 weeks? I have a GT on order and was wondering what your situation was.

Im not sure what took so long, we couldnt figure it out (dealer and I). I ordered 6/08 got serialized quickly then it just went stale for a couple weeks. Then the shutdown happened and i got no updates.. then in mid july it all started moving again. It was built august 4th, shipped the 10th.. arrived at the railyard on the 18 and sat there till yesterday! Couldnt get the shipping company to pick it up.. it was crazy....

Anyway.. all in all, the experience was awesome. My dealer was flawless... never a scamming word from them. Got X-plan without asking (once they found out I work for Dell).... 200 under invoice... ended up being 33,060.. not bad!

best car buying exp ive ever had!

Excellent choice in color! I also took a gamble on the Alloy since I ordered it on mine without ever seeing it. The first time I saw it in person was the day I picked up my car. I have no regrets and get tons of compliments on the color, and I'm sure you will hear the same.

 

Nothing beats the day the car comes in after the long wait!! I love the cloth top on mine also...makes the car!!

 

That's a very nice color. Of ccourse the cloth top is the bomb! You will find the only regret about the cloth top will the lint that it gathers. Get yourself a lint brush. It is amazing how much it beads up too. They must have put some kind of protectant on it. It beads up more than the paint does. I need to get me some Ragg Top though as I am sure that it won't last forever.

Like I've said before. These colors should be like skins for your Ipod. I want a Vista Blue, Alloy, GO, and Redfire one please!

 

Nice color. I was going to get the Alloy but was to unsure to order it sight unseen. It does look good though.
