Having placed an X-Plan order for a Mineral GT Vert back on 2/9 and having received squat from my dealer (the biggest in the Tri-State area), I am wondering if there might be an issue with it being an X-Plan order. Anyone else able to order via X-Plan and have at least a DORA or VIN# if not actually in possession of a car?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure there have been "a few."

I ordered with X-plan on 1-14 and got a copy of the DORA right away (with priority code 10) but I still don't have a VIN #. I don't think Ford distinguishes an X-plan from another order, but the dealer might, however, by altering the priority code you're assigned to allow another order to move ahead. I think my delay has more to do with the allocation my dealer has. If I only knew then what I know now . . . shoulda coulda woulda ordered earlier from another dealer.

Every dealership is the biggest.

What does that mean? My dealer is the smallest.

My dealer sells about 30 units a year! I'm talking 30 total combined, all makes, models...30! Is yours still the smallest?
