I'm confused if its the Innovation Drive or the Ford Racing that lets you drive the Mustang.

http://www.fordinnovationdrive.com/home.htm

Would like to get some clarification before I try to sign up for the Dallas Innovation Drive. If I just get to look, I can hit the local dealerships. But driving salesman free...that's another thing.

[edit] Nvm...in the application itself...

"I would like to attend the Ford Innovation Drive event. (Ford Five Hundred, Ford Freestyle, F-Series Super Duty, Ford Mustang – on display only)"

Mustang is display only..

I signed up yesterday and according to my invitation the mustang is available to drive. It also says on the web site that you can drive the mustang. Go to event vehicles and scroll over the mustang and it tells you what events you can drive it. I'm signed up for 8:45. I can't wait to drive it.

Ya...I just noticed on the Event Vehicles the Mustang will be "available to drive".

I signed up for 9am.

Have you done it, hole? I'm going this Saturday to the Innovation drive in Atlanta.

Do you get to drive more than once? How long is the wait?

I went to the one in L.A. and the earlier you get there the smaller the line will be. You only get to drive it once(they stamp your pass).

only once, eh? that's a bummer.

I've never raced a car before... if I skid into a ditch, I don't have to pay for it, do I?

I participated in the event at the Kentucky Speedway on 10/23. I waited about an hour and 15 minutes, and the drive lasted about a minute.

It was fun, especially since the dealers I've been to aren't letting you test drive the GTs.
