It's a loaded silver Gt automatic. Next time I talk to him, i'll find out what city/area if you want.

And fyi - The new order guide issued 7/1 is the same with changes to color codes or colors, or something. He apologized for making me think there were new options. He is sending me the "05 Mustang Pre-View guide with detail information about suspension and engine enhencements." in the mail. I'm guessing that is old info, but i'm sure i'll have nice pics to look at.

The Shelby Roadster won't come in as high as $95K, and isn't even approved by Ford yet. Your dealer is spreading rumors and is taking deposits on a fictitious car that hasn't been signed off on yet?

That's not the best of business tactics...
Ford has stated that the Shelby will be in the 90K range. I was told this at an auto show as well. The new Viper Coupe will probably be in the same ballpark as well.

Well thats good news...competition for the high-end sports cars.
Too bad I'll never be able to afford anything close to that.

I just got off the phone with the internet dealer at 5 Star Ford DFW area, and he checked about the revision level. He saw 7/1 revisions on Taurus, F-150, etc, but not the Mustang. It was still at 5/24 revision.

Also, he said he's attending a drive and ride at Alliance airfield for the Ford Region dealers on Thursday, July 22nd. The Mustang is one of the vehicles he'll be driving. I asked him to send/call me with any new info he learns, especially about the engine power.

We'll see.

I remember reading somewhere that there would be a revision on August 1st.. but that was something to do with the emissions order codes. Maybe something interesting will pop up as well.
