I use Meguires leather conditioner/cleaner and have only had a very minimal amount of wipe off... and only once in a while.
Good stuff. I also use Meguires Quick mist and wipe interior detailer. That's the best interior detailer I've ever used. Love that stuff, use it on everything.

It's a spray, but it sprays on a milky/creamy substance. I use a cotton cloth to gently spread it across the seats evenly. Then let it sit for a couple minutes before buffing it off. It gives the seats a shine until it dries, then it just looks clean, fresh, and moist. It doesn't have any perfumes that I know of. I've used it for a year on my ICAPs and have only had a little of color wipe off once, maybe twice.
It's no more than $8/bottle.

hugh?
"...but it has to be whiped in the off?"
If your asking do you need to wipe it off, then the answer's kinda. I squirt it on, smooth it over with a rag, let it sit, then hand buff it to remove any excess. You'll see the first time you use it. It's worked good so far.
(BTW, not making fun of you above, just trying to figure out just what you were saying. )

Lexol is about the best out there.......been around for years and recommended by all the high price imports for their leather..
Rub it in, let it dry and then buff out,
You can also apply it and then park the car in the sun and let the leather heat up and then apply more, the heat will assure good penetration into the leather.....
Lexol is a conditioner and not a cleaner and if your leather is not dirty then I would use a conditioner, some of these cleaner products are pretty strong,
P.S....I also have red leather and have never had any color show up when I buffed it out.

I use the Meguiar's leather wipes. I used to use the spray as well, but tried these when they were on sale. I find they work just as well, with less mess.
I have ICAP as well, and have never had any red wipe off when using them.

Yeah I can vouch for the Zaino... it's great stuf.... I LOVE it
But with Zaino you have to order it. The Lexol is the best you can get at your local Pep Boys or whatever.

I preffer the woolite 10:1 water to woolite, for cleaning. Then use a conditioner. Or cleaner and conditioner if heavily soiled.
Zaino works well, cleaner and conditioner. It has a good consistency for the Mustang's seat.
I have tried Lexol numerous times, consistently disappointing. I'm a glutton.
Lederpflege is an excellent product, and good for the mustang seats. I have used this the most (in combination with the woolite). I prefer this a little over Zaino
The Mequiars product seems to be rated pretty well, at various detailing sites. But, I have not used it.

i wondered about this as well and looked at the owners man
ford states that the seats have a clear coating on them and to use a product that will not remove it
(or something to that effect, i went out to grab my o/m so i could be more specific, but my cars not there!!!
its still in the body shop)
ford does offer a cleaner/conditioner for our seats. has anyone here tried it?

I can vouch for the Zaino. I have been using it on the red seats in my Mustang. It's new, so I haven't seen any big difference. I used it on my 02 Mountaineer the other day and it looks better than it has in years.
