Well, I was hoping to be the first one to show up in an 05, but this morning someone else has one in the lot!
Same color as my order too sonic blue. Guess he beat me out, it just means I have to do more mods
One note, his is only the v6 so I should still be the first GT

 

The way my order is going it will be the first 2006 in the parking lot

 

I've seen 3 v6 models in the parking lot at work and 2 at home. No GTs yet though. Maybe I'll be the first...

 

I didn't order my GT, I ordered the GT the dealership was getting as part of their first shipment of mustang cars. I was probably one of the very first in my city to get the car. It was definately a nice feeling, and for MONTHS people were breaking their necks just to see me on the highway. I don't get too much of that anymore, but it still happens. I felt like I was driving a farrari or something.

 

Steven - ain't it great!! Mine is the first in our lot at work and I park it prominently like a proud papa!

I get all the rubber necking now - and especially fun to watch the kids being dropped off at school craning to look which one of their buddies is getting out of our car! My 14 yo daughter had 'shotgun' this morning and as we entered the school yard she turned towards the window so those in the cafeteria next to us could get a good look at her getting out of the front seat. My tall 15 yo son with the size 14 shoes had contorted himself into the back so she could have a turn exiting the front. What fun!

 

Mine was and still is the only Mustang at work, however after people saw it and stared at it for a few months I know find out that 3 others have bought a new stang, all GT's but have them locked up in their garages until spring time.

 

Yeah... someone beat me at work here too. But his is a black GT coupe, so I won't have the "wearing the same dress to the prom" issue dekujala. I *should* have the first silver vert here. That is such a drag. Hey... drag. You could challenge him to a race. Loser can't drive their Stang to work.

(That would just be too mean. I wouldn't wish that on an enemy.)

 

Someone in my condominium complex just got a black GT a few days ago. Only difference from mine is he got the bullit wheels. Got it hurts, though, not to be first. Well at least he's a couple courts over, lol.

 

Ya...I fear I won't be the first at my work to have an '05 on the lot either. I've become the keeper of all things "'05 Mustang" at work and people are coming to me for info. Some threaten to go buy one of the lot because they are liking it so much.

*sigh*...been wanting one since March of last year..finally get my order in...and now, how dare they, they want to go buy one off the lot. *sigh*

 

I am the only one at work to have an 05 and we have 650 people here. Several have stated they want to get a GT after seeing mine.

 

I am the only one NEAR my work to have one. The parts shop next door loves it.

But last night, I went to eat and saw a twin to my car (except his was an auto). I parked next to him. He came out as I parked. We got to talk a little. I got mine in Nov, he got his the day before we met.
