Looked a little bit and have not seen this article posted yet
http://www.carbuyersnotebook.com/archives/...pth_intervi.htm

But combined with the anouncement for the production increase (http://www.blueovalnews.com/2005/pro...ncre.31705.htm)
I am going to try and sort out the numbers...

The first article states that Ford expects verts to account for 30% of total Mustang sales, and prior to the vert's becoming available, GT's accounted for 40% of the sales. Assuming that 40% of all vert's will be GT's, this means that 12% of all vert sales are GT's.

Assuming that of the remaining 70% non-vert sales, 40% of those will be GT coupe's as well, means that 28% of those cars will be GT coupe's.

The total production number of Mustangs will be about 192k, so that means 53,760 Mustang GT coupes will be built for MY 2005. Of course Ford may adjust this up or down depending on demand.

Sure seems like all of us still waitnig for a car should be able to get one.
