Hey, I have that color and that pic is my screensaver! I have had so many people say to me that they didn't know Ford made the 05 in a gold-typically at night. The actual paint code is called Lime Gold. I love it! It's a bit different than the usually colors (hence making it different-duh). The more I put Zaino's on, the better it looks. I have yet to see a single picture the really shows the beauty of this color. It's probably safe to say that most here that have seen this color in person will say it looks much better in person and pics don't do it justice. Besides, it's the only year they are making this color.
The blacked out taillights do look good too! Should the spoiler be black as well or would that be too much? Also, should that black be shiny or matte/flat black?

They have a color next year called "Lime Gold." Isn't that the same as "Legend Lime?"

Saw a legend lime gt at the dealer for the first time last night under strong street lighting. Looks great! First time I saw pics of this color I thought about that color on vw bugs....but it looks so much better on the mustang! It kinda makes the car look like a big toy...which is basically what it is =)
Also something about it brings out the lines of the car WAY better than some of the other colors and on top of that I get the feeling it is an easy maintanance color that won't show every little surface scratch.

Now if they only offered light graphite interior with lime...what's up with that??

That's a good question. At the time that I heard about next years colors, I didn't know that Legend Lime was the same as Lime Gold. This year the color is called Legend Lime, but the paint code is called Lime Gold. Dunno!?

When my dealer got his first GT in, it was Legend Lime. I really wanted my Windveil Blue to be the first one I ever layed my eyes on, but I JUST couldn't wait to see the car, so I drove in and looked at the Legend Lime. It really was Sharp! I was surprised how nice it looked. The pictures just do not really show the color. Nor do they for the Windveil Blue. There's nothing like seeing them in person. I bet we don't see many of the Legend Lime.

I think Legend Lime is a really cool color! B)

It goes great with the retro style of the new Mustang. I think it's great that Ford brought back some of the retro colors for the new 05 Mustang!

And here's a really nice pic from the timeline of a V6 in Legend Lime...... :worship:
