I just purchased the Illuminated door sills from ford racing. I have an 08GT with the ambient lighting package but the instructions don't tell me how to wire them in and there doesn't seem to be a plug (even though Ford said there was). The instructions are how to wire them in without the ambient lightening package. Tried calling Ford back, no help at all. Wondering if anyone know how to wire them into the Ambient lightening system?

 

You have to run wires from the door sill to the center console and wire it in there. It will not change colors with the ambient lighting so don't expect that to happen. Best idea is to wire them in to your door switch so it will turn on and off when you open and close the door.
