What size/brand tires are you running ?
Getting 4 X19" SVT PP wheels from Ford racing and wondering what size and brand tires i should go with. I need some feedback and pics if possible to how it would look on my '11 5.0. I have a few combinations in my mind right now, but wondering how it would look on my car which is lowered 1" all around. By the way the SVT wheels from Ford racing are 19X10 rear ( 51mm offset) and 19X9 for the front ( 40mm offset ).
Here is what i have in mind but have no idea what it would look like.
If possible, i will try to keep my front Continental extreme DW tires which are 255/40/19's.
If i get a set of 285/35/19's for the rear i'm afraid it will not fill in the wheelwell properly !
If i change all four tires:
255/35/19's for the front
305/30/19's for the rear
This set up keep the overall diameter to within .69 % of eachother.
But is a 305 tire on a 10" wide wheel too much !
Thx for the help guys.

Running 275 Invo's in front / 295 Invo's in Back!!! I like them for the street but not so great for the strip but then again Invo's are not really made as a Street / Strip tire... Thinking about running the NT05's after these what do you guys think of NT05's???
John, is it 275/40's front and 295/35's back you're running right now ! thx
Test fit the wheel out back before deciding on a tire. What you should be looking for is the clearance between the lip of the back of the wheel and shock. Based on that clearance it should be easy to figure out which tire width you can use without any issues.
dont even know if they make 19s, but imagine they doo..anyway heres my 2 cents...
I got Riken 255-45-zr18 on 18x9 on AR torque thrust M rears, and 255-50-zr17 in front on stock 17x8 wheels.
both are same diameter as the stock pirellis, I'm afraid to lower the car any as I scrape once in a while even at stock height...I thought the 17's would look ok, but they look silly- taller sidewall makes them look much bigger on the front...plan on getting the 18x9s for the front too eventually. wanted 18x10 rears, but couldnt find any affordable tires near stock diameter(or a tad bigger).
The Rikens are made by Michelin, summit sells them- think only about 120 apiece, they stick like glue in the rain compared to the pirellis, dry traction is about the same. the 18's did slow the car a bit at the track, always ran 99~103 at the track, since the bigger wheels, never got over 100, 98-99 seems to be all its got now- but did get about 1/10 better 60 foot, best I could get on the pirellis was 2.18, usually 2.25, with the bigger tires got 2.12-2.18 pretty consistently, getting off the line at 3500 instead of 2500...
the pirellis seemed to flatspot if sitting more than a couple days, the Rikens moreso, but they roll smooth within 2 miles of driving - not sure how they will do over winter storage, might put it on stands this winter.
