Which ignition coils, stock or aftermarket?

I did a search and couldn't find a definitive answer to this, I still have the stock coils on my '05 and I'm up to 130K now with only two having been changed because they went out around 100K. The stock ones cost and arm and a leg and want to replace all of them soon and was looking at the Accel, MSD blaster and SD Performance ones. What is everyone else using and how do they perform? The motor isn't modified except for a tune, what's the best stock replacement coil out there? I noticed Ford Racing only makes for the 08-10 GT's, anyone seen them for the 2005's? Any input would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks!

The generics on ebay would work just fine but there is no reason to replace them until they go bad. I've had 250K miles on stock coils and still were going strong.

I installed a set of Accel COP's when one of mine went bad at around 90K. So far so good, no complaints and I don't baby my Stang I get on the throttle a lot and no misfires. I have a few mods and run the 93 race tune from Bama. Get them on sale if you can, I think its the best bang for your buck. But whatever you do don't wait till they go bad because they tend to go bad at the most inopportune moment like when you're cruising on a scenic mountain road far away from an auto parts store and miles from the nearest cell tower. Been there done that.

OEM are the best ones, it's been proven time and time again.

Thanks for the replies, I'm still on the fence about sticking with stock ones or aftermarket. I've used accel products before with good results but not on a newer vehicle. I've been sticking with ford racing parts but don't see anything for the '05 in ways of ignition coils..just '08 and up.

The 08 and up would be for the new head design (released 12.07) to fix the spark plug issue. Probably just an attachment change but I'd think you would be able to get 05-07 COP's still.
