Ideas to make vert a jaw dropper?
#1
As good as everything is on the 05 Mustang. The one thing that really stood out and made the car for me, is the sleek (65 looking) roofline. Its classic perfection at its best!
We have all seen the spy shots of the new vert roof. Its Ok, but it looks like its missing something.
My question is to be a "Hit" at next years NAIAS. What can ford do with the vert, to make it look like a classic "jaw dropper" convertible?
Top up or top down. Anybody have any suggestions?

This will be my first convertible, and I don't think I've seen too many that look GREAT with the top up unless they have a hard cover. Even the BMW 330 Ci (which I was going to get before I saw the new Stang) doesn't look good until you buy the $2000 cover. They are designed to drop your jaw in envy when you see it down and some dude or really hot chick is enjoying the ride!!
I want to see some kind of deck cover for the retracted top, because THAT is what makes a vert a classy car. if you just tuck it in a hole like the current model, you sacrifice class. Even as an option I'd pay for it because it really a key feature to me.

yup I like that idea of a hard cover. I also think they should have the windshield wrapped in chrome. And at least on the vert, the side mirrors should be painted the color of the car. It would make it a class act!
