I want some opinions on interior design

As you can see in my pic I have a windveil blue mustang. I have gray leather interior, and though its not bad I want to go for a more custom look.

I didnt go for the black interior because i felt it was to stark so heres my idea.

I want to switch the seats to black leather, and keep the centers gray and both front and rear.

Im aslo thinking of changing the carpeting to black.

keeping the rest of the interior as is,(gray door panles and lower dash etc)

I think the light and dark contrast would look really good, and any one who is bored and want to play with photoshop that be awesome

I also think it will help match my exterior plans which will be alot of black accesories and black outs.(black center stripe, dark tint, black wheels, black chin spoler etc)

Same reason I wanted the GT/CS for the dove interior inserts. Sounds good to me though. Good luck

I get custom leather done up all the time, its about ~900. I have done a few grey interiors up with black leather, you should replace the plastics on the seat base(just the two plastic covers and the tilt levers), other then that it will look fine. The rear seatback levers are also grey plastic, but you can hardly see them. If you just do black floor mats and the lower trim pieces, it brings enough black into the interior to pull it off.

Here's one we just had done a couple days ago 15' from my desk, classic soft trim setup with 'carbon fiber' silver vinyl inserts, silver stitching, and black leather. The silver stitching and script are a perfect match, they just look off with the flash. A grabber orange one from a month ago too....Leather quality is top notch, better then stock, like a very nice jacket. These are both charcoal interior base models, but you get the idea...The charcoal side covers and the levers can't cost all that much.

Beautiful. I need to find a place that can do that kind of work around here.

You could also pick up a set of GT/CS seat covers in the Dk Charcoal/Dove insert color, and have them switched out. Though I've seen the Classic Soft Trim seats, and Katzkin Seats and both are excellent products.

From a dealer, about the same if not more then custom ones installed probably. The katskin/classicsofttrim stuff gets leather from a supplier called roadwire, they are better then the factory hides. The new factory hides are light years ahead of the SN95's leather though. The old car had leather nearly as lousy as a Porsche's.

well if the cost is the same then the customs with the better hides are the way to go.

Nice upgrades folks, I knew the day I seen my first GT/CS I liked the 2-tone effect as well.
