I was coming back from my girlfriends house and I guess I sped up a little too early (goes from 35-40) . I was going 45.

The cop came up, I acted very calm, had all my papers ready, todl him where I was going, where I came from. He ran my stuff. I todl him I thought it chanegd to 40 earlier. He let me off without even a warning, told me to jsut watch next time. Also, he admired my car and congratulated me for being able to pay for it at 17.

Well, thats a stop worth remembering.

i got pulled over 2 years ago for speeding way too fast in my '92 maxima, and i told the cop i was speeding because i wanted to talk to my g/f... he snickered and let me go lol i got lucky

 

He just wanted to get a close up look at your car, everyone knows that owning the new stang gives you a free pass to speed, duh. You paid for the GT by yourself at 17, wow, congrats on how ever you swung that one, I only could swing the V6 when I got my 98, but that was because of the insurance on the GT. You pay for that too. Either way congrats on the car, and the pass on the ticket.

 

Where at? I had a cop run my plates on my way home one night but haven't gotten pulled over. I even left a little tread in the Denny's parking lot in Willoughby.

 

Yeah a speeding ticket at your age will send your insurance even further through the roof.

 

I heard those Ohio cops are tough. Out east we follow Troopers going 80 in 55 zones & they don't even give you a 2nd look.

 

I was in Chardon .. or leaving it, going down Ravenna Road there (old 44) where it turns from 35 aftrr the square to 40 before bass lake road.
