Don't you feel any guilt about the murderous frenzy you initiated as the Dodge sales staff fought and clawed each other half to death to get to you?

That happened at every dealer I went to. It was almost obnoxious.

I'll post pictures when it gets here from California...How ironic...

Its a color called Silver Steel with tan leather interior. I'm actually getting kind of excited now.

Seems like you're going from one cool car to another

Hey at 21 years old I was driving my first Mustang GT, but I was far from having a fiancee and buying a house.

Good luck with the new ride and don't worry, you'll be able to afford whatever you want in the future with your responsible attitude toward money.

Haha, they are all terrible.
I was with my friend going to a Ford dealership to look at some rangers for her, and the salesmen was at the car door before we even got the car in park! WTF, now that was enough just to make me want to have her put in in reverse and leave.

Oh yeah, and a 4x4 would probably just bring your insurance right back up.
Where are you moving to in the Midwest?

LOL. That happened to me at a Nissan dealer once but he leaned into the car and reached to shake my hand. I took a swing at him because I thought it was a car jacking. Maybe a bit of over reaction

I'm moving to St. Paul MN. Not to far from Chi town. My folks live in Glendale Heights.

Understand getting a more practical car for all sorts of weather, and if you have or are planning on having a family. My kid is 15 now, so no way in heck am I getting a 4-door "toy". It goes against everything I was raised on - 60s/70s muscle cars. I have always been a bit disappointed how Chrysler Corp. pulled off the new Charger. Doesn't retro back, or harken back, to the original at all.

Just as an update. I'm actually switching to a Black 07 (same year as my CS with the same miles) with gray leather, nav, sunroof, dual zone climate, heated seats, power driver and passenger seat, 7 speaker kicker sound system with sub, EVIC (cool dodge incar data info system) that tells me 0-60 (ok, its a little gimmiky, but still kind of cool) and a bunch of other crap

I'm picking it up tomorrow and saying farewell to the stang. Having the Mustang made me more hands on with cars in general and I'm actually looking forward to getting into something different to learn about. I'm gonna miss the hell out of the mustang, but I think I'm in for a pretty decent trade off in terms of features, power, and over all coolness. Granted its not a two door sports coupe with a five speed, but its a bit of a wolf in sheep's clothing. I learned that and intake and tune wake the Charger up considerably like they do for the mustang. That in itself will be interesting.

I'll keep you all posted on my turning to the darkside

Being more hands on is good when purchasing a Chrysler product, you'll need that experience. Personally I'd have gone with a 2010 Fusion sport. My coworker just picked one of these up and I tell you, that car can boogie. On top of that, its FWD so when the snow shows up, its not the end of the world.

Good luck!

I will most likely be getting a CAI and a body color matched grill. I don't wanna go too crazy. There are some guys over on the charger forums running big cams, and nitrous not really what I want in my DD.

Love those SRTs, but the R/Ts and the sixers...not really my thing But I'm sure it will meet your needs.

Not doggin' you at all for getting rid of the Mustang, I did that too years ago and did come back to the pony side. Just don't know if I'd picked the same replacement. Best of luck, and stick around.

Looks good, my buddy has a bright red one and it meets a family's needs. Now just tint it out, windows lights and signals , throw on some slp's and rims and you're good! Best of luck with it!
