luckily i live in a poor, small, college town. So, hopefully my GT will be the ONLY mustang for at least the rest of the school year.

Now they are starting to be common as ants at a picnic.
Not here, just saw my first on the road last week. Sonic Blue with white stripes. Didn't see enough of it to be able to tell whether V6 or GT (was in the fast lane with traffic blocking my view)

Well Its official........Eleanor is no longer the coolest car in the morning carpool line...This morning, I pull in, and see something green pulling ahead of me.I get up to the drop off line....Lime GT with FULL ON IUP.... One of my kids friends parents went shopping over the weekend....
Yea, that ones got me beat.....
Blast it.
It was bound to happen once the dealers started getting more Mustangs in their showrooms.
Since I got my car just after Christmas I've been seeing more Mustangs everyday on the road.
And you know what? It doesn't really bother me that my car isn't the only Mustang on the road.

Down here in Southeastern Virginia it still is a very rare to see a new GT on the road. I have spotted a Sonic Blue GT twice and a Mineral Grey GT once. I travel alot around the area during my work day. I have had my car since mid Dec. and it is not a daily driver. I look everyday for the new Mustangs, because I love looking at them, but they seem invisible. Heck it is not like they are not being sold, there is like 5 Ford dealers around here.

The new Mustangs are selling here...the dealers can't seem to keep them in their showrooms very long. I know of one dealership in my area that sold at least five GTs that I'm aware of (Sonic and Windveil Blue, Yellow, White and Grey) and several V-6s.
I've seen a few Mustangs on the road...mostly V-6s since I got my car.

Its not that I am stunned and shocked- I never intended to be the only one. Its the whole NEST of them in my one little zip code. And the severe lack of them elsewhere.

I LOVE to see other ones on the road. I love more getting behind one of the jillions of em- people break their necks lookin at a mustang train.

And I am actually kinda proud someone else in the carpool line broke out of the Explorer Hades that is almost every parents life. BUT BUT BUT I was the only one for a month. Kindof a shock to see a second. My daughter is ticked- she was the cool kid whose mom had the cool car. Now theres another cool kid whose mom has a cool car(but we were first!)

Oh now there is an Awful thought , they get their power back and then stop all export of petrolium to North America, I wonder if Ford have any Flux Campaciters ? But I will not then feed it any Lemons.

The only other Mustang GT I've seen after I bought mine (2.7 months ago) was a fleeting glimpse of a black one (like mine) passing me head on in traffic. I've seen one V6 after that, in a parking lot at an UNO's. According to my father and a few friends, for some reason they are very common down in Atlantic City, but everywhere else in Jersey they are virtually non-existant.

I wish there were more here - less of a chance they'll be stolen if they are perceived as a common car. The less rare something is, they less likely it willl be stolen. At least, that's my logic.

I've had my '05 GT for three and a half months. I've only run into four other GTs in this time. I see plenty of V6s around L.A. though, probably one a day. It doesn't bother me that mine isn't the only one around anymore. I enjoy seeing other '05 Mustangs, as I get a better feel for what mine looks like on the road.

Gawd that green gt looks all lit up. We hit the drop off line at the same time every morning. That is a SWEET looking car. It came from the same place I got mine too, I hope JR sold it to em. This morning it was raining, and it had its fogs on..... soooooooo pretty. I love the lime and STILL want a lime.

I love seeing them! I just didn't know there would be so many, its like someone opened up a flood gate. I NEVER leave the house without seeing one, usually more, and usually never the same ones. We love our mustangs here. SCADS of all types from classics to foxes to now all over the road. Safe bet, if you are not in a family car or SUV you are in a Mustang.
