Well Its official........Eleanor is no longer the coolest car in the morning carpool line...This morning, I pull in, and see something green pulling ahead of me.I get up to the drop off line....Lime GT with FULL ON IUP.... One of my kids friends parents went shopping over the weekend....

I lived through that when I first got my new Mustang back in 94. Makes you feel like a rock star for a few months, 'cause no one else has one. It all catches up eventually. The good news is, you still have a 'stang.

One reason I decided on the Mach is there will never be many around.

Also, Yellow is bound to stand out more, anyway

Yep ..I have been there. Back in 2001 when i bought my PT Cruiser, I was the 1st one ..Folks would wave, holler, stare,etc ..

Guys were paying 1000's over MSRP just to get them, and now look, its one of 20 million or so ..They are on the used car lots so thick, you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a PT ..

I have the best looking FAUXBRA around. Unfortunately I have a yellow twin in my backyard- able to tell them apart only by the snakes.

 

theres like no new mustangs around here in NJ.....i have a white v6 around the block. the guy with the black GT moved. and i still havent seen the guy with a red GT. mine=yet to be built. the 1st tank of gas thats gonna fill my car is still probably sitting in iraq
