I was reading the Motortrend article on the stang which says expect pricing close to launch.
If you say close to "Launch," isn't that around 9/27 when Brad is going for the "Launch Celebration." Hopefully it will be before then!!!!

*All the prices are whats on my qoute from the AAFES New Car Sales dealership. The recently had everything on the '05 Stang updated about a month ago, they were using the Mach 1 pricing to give qoutes. I guess they thought it would be the same ball park, as we can it's considerably cheaper.

RedLine02, see your other post. Unfortunately, that isn't official pricing.

Maybe we'll get the car, and then hand it down from generation to generation until they figure out the prices. Then our great grand children pay. Job 1 is tomorrow! they have to know the prices now, they are just teasing us as usual.

I don't think that's what they meant.......at least I hope not.

Like customers, dealers have to pay for the cars as well. They need to know pricing too. I'm sure quite a few will have cars before 9/27.

Anyway, that seems way too late. I'd be pretty surprised if that happened.

Actually, dealers NEVER know the exact price of ANY FoMoCo vehicle when they order it. Prices are ALWAYS subject to change and they often do change from when the order is placed to when the vehicle is delivered.

If you have ever ordered a new FoMoCo vehicle, you would know that the contract with the dealer specifies the price based on what is on your window sticker (or their invoice) when the car shows up. The dealer never knows their real price until they see their invoice.

Similar situation with incentives. You get whatever incentives are in effect on the day you take delivery, NOT the day you order it.

Since the first official production 2005 Mustang will roll off the end of the assembly line tomorrow, what we need is some spy at AAI to take a look at the Stangs rolling of the line and tell us if they have window stickers with prices on them or if the prices are blank.

Long time lurker, first time poster. Just got back from my local dealer where I ordered a Redfire 05 GT with a deposit of 500 bones. According to the sales manager there, they are expecting the prices any day, but have been hearing this for a couple of weeks.

I know one things for sure, I will not sleep tonight!!! It's been ten years since I sold my 88 GT and I've regretted it every day..

Didn't they release pricing on the 500 and Freestyle a couple weeks after Job 1?
