i do not deserve this car. where can i find the cheapest GT takeoff bumper?
So I went to a drift event, dented up my rear driver side fender on my first run. Track was damp and there was a combination of me pushing it too hard and also me being a very bad driver. I spun out into a bunch of tires stacked up to protect a trailer.
I thought about calling it quits right then, but I paid $100 for this, so I kept going all day. Near the end of the day, I bruised my bumper on a cable holding a pole up. The bumper will cost a fraction of the quarter panel, but it completely destroyed my morale and my will to live. err, will to drift. I did the math and given that I average at damaging one body panel per 6 runs, I decided to call it a day and stop destroying my baby.
Anyways, where is the cheapest place to find a GT takeoff bumper?

Front, go with a GT/CS bumper
. rear damage... dents or us?
Sorry for your loss, I've been there, so make the best of it and try to upgrade to something better.

Or go to a fast driving event, Any car can drift, but the skill set required to masterfully control the car isn't common - dirt track and rally guys would probably have the best chance outside the drift crowd.
I've had the pleasure of having visited Michelin's LPG testing facility and they have a circle track there that is smooth concrete which they can slick down with water. The instructor commented on the variety of drivers having gone through there and successfully navigated the track without losing control (formula one to nascar to pro drivng school instructors) and like I said dirt track guys and rally guys were the most successful, everybody else had trouble.

man bro that sux but could of been worse. Totalled you car and get hurt. But that damage on your car will be a easy fix. It easier to replace a few parts instead of having to pay for another mustang good luck

Hmm, now you got me thinking.. I'm a bit more partial to the Roush bumper.. I kinda wanted to have the power adders first to back up any deviation from stock external appearance, but maybe I can just let this one slide early..

ouch I know your pain on the dented quarter panel, granted mine was caused by a sixteen year old in a minivan but yeah.
with any luck you can get your quarter panel fixed for cheaper than mine. was about a grand to reshape the panel and repaint in my case.
