If you really wanna make it stand out take it to a metal polishing place and they can make it glow!!!!!!!! Everyone that sees mine asks what aftermarket throttle body I have. Little do they know it is the stock piece polished to a mirror finish. This is before the Whipple of course

At what mileage did you do this clean?

What was the condition before you scrubbed it?

Sorry no pics. I have 11,000 miles on my car. But the issue was the CAI, I believe that the build up of gunk was from the oil from the filter. So depending on how much oil you put on the filter and how long you let dry afterward (after cleaning the filter) will determine how often you have to clean it. I was having that idle problem that doug described some time ago. I didn't know I had a loss of power until after I cleaned it. Hope that helps.

Sorry Antdog. I just assumed you meant the outside. Now you got me wanting to clean the inside.
