I have noticed the forum shifting already! I bet its an even break with one third of the forum close to or already have there 05 Mustang and one third on order and the other third not going to order or at least for a year. I thought a poll might tell us where everyone is at. I thought of this because a post from yesterday that talked about reduced production at AAI didn't even get one response, this a month ago would of been a hot topic. Lets see.

I really would love to replace my '01 GT with an '05, but I only have 22K miles on my '01, so I have no pressing need for a new car as my 01 Stang is a 3rd car, not my daily driver.

My wife's car will be paid off in September 05 which will make a new '06 Mustang a lot easier to justify next fall.

So, I've pretty much decided to wait and see what improvements (SE?, 18" wheels & tires?) we'll get for the '06 model year.

But who knows? If by April 05 production is caught up with demand and there's some incentives tacked on I could be swayed to buy an '05.

I'm wrestling with trying to decide whether to go with an '05 GT or an '04 SVT Cobra. I'm waiting to get to drive a GT before I decide but right now, I'm pretty much 50/50 on either car.

I love the features and looks of the '05 but I love the power of the Cobra. Either one would be a blast!

Well I was going to be the owner of a 2005 V6, but with all the holds and no IUP and after seeing one in person and not really liking it (V6 that is, not the GT ), I might just be picking up a different little gift today : )

My dealer has a 2004 Torch Red GT that's just begging for an owner. Wish me luck guys... and to all of you getting 05s, congrats!

pretty much in the same boat as V10! will test drive the 05. May wait for the SE, or 06 to get the 18's, and also, by that time, will probably know a little more on the Cobra.

I wish I could afford one, but with the shipping, import duties etc, it is just beyond me for the moment......possibly 2006, we'll see!

Here are my Top 5 reasons why I am waiting til 2006:
1.) Winter is only weeks away.
2.) Bugs need to be worked out on the new model.
3.) 2006 will have 18 inch wheels
4.) SE?
5.) Cobra
The longer I wait, the better Stang I will get!

I'm just here for the "Classics" board.

Is there a new Mustang coming out?

Not to mention the cost of "petrol" in England! I was in London about 6 months ago, and the price was rediculous! Of course it was listed as Pounds/Liters. By my calculations, that came out to about $150 a gallon!!!!!

Here are my Top 3 reasons why I am waiting til spring of 2006:
1.) Winter is only weeks away.
2.) Work out the bugs in the '05
3.) REBATES!!!!!!

I ordered on 6/5 but have no confidence that my dealer has even ordered mine at this point. I demanded the VIN number. They are supposed to call me today with it.

Also, the forum was down yesterday the few times I tried to get on or else I would have been reading the posting.

My '05 GT was built in September. I'm patiently waiting for it to arrive.
