I finally went out and drove the GT mustang and then i bought it. I had wanted to wait for the GT500, but all the dealers in my area have either a long waiting list or have already sold their allotment. Either way i am happy with the purchase.

I took advantage of the 0% financing for 72 months and on X-plan. I did have to drive 2.5 hours to pick it up. The closest dealer that had the 5speed manual.

I got the windveil blue with the Light Graphite Interior.

My plan is to drive it for a few years until it might be possible to buy the GT500 or just add the whipple supercharger to it. I have not fully made up my mind.

Until then i just plan on to enjoy it. Thanks to everyone on TMS for all of the information you have provided.

Yes, you got alot better deal on the GT, with the 0% financing and all...........would'a cost you a whole lot more to get into the Shelby even if it was available to you. No 0% for sure, and probably a minimium of $50,000

 

Yes, i got the 2006.

It is far better than the 1995 Dodge Dakota that i traded in on it.

 

Congrats!! I did it too on Saturday bought the last Legend Lime GT at 0% and put the $15,000 back into my savings for some mods!! Just could not pass it up, I have been waiting for one for two years

Yep, I bought an 06 redfire manuel GT over the phone tonight. I pick it up tomorrow afternoon, I wanted a GT 500 in the worst way but it just wasn't gonna happen. I couldn't pass up that 72 0% now.

yep, I got X-plan with my EAA membership.

 

red fire auto (so the wife can drive it) could not pass up 0% and xplan.
