2007 Mustang GTR

Found this at Town & Country on Thursday. The windshield says "18" Roush Wheels, Roush Exhaust".

Brad...do you get kickbacks from T&C??

anyway... dont like it. I've seen dealers do these "pimp my mustang" jobs...just add the mods into the payment...which is a good idea if you pimp it the way someone wants it...I have'nt seen to many of them I like though...

I suppose I'd get the $100 birddog fee if I referred someone to T&C, but all dealerships do that for everyone. I just took some photos of some "special edition" cars to show you to see what you think.

meh, it's ok...

talking about dealers pimpin' new Mustangs out...
be glad you dont live in L.A.
I have seen many V6's with horrible pimp looking 19" and bigger wheels.
And some GT's weren't spared, but not as many as the V6's

Around me at least over in Whittier/North Orange County there seem to be a lot more V6s than GTs. Thankfully I haven't seen too many really bad 'Stangs.

On the special editions, that GO with the Shelby wheels in the background looks awful nice, was it a Roush ('cause of the spoiler) I love the Shelby wheels.

It's not a Roush. There are pics of it in this thread.

Not liking it. You would think that if they were making a GTR mustang replica they could at least use GTR rims.

It just seems like the rims and the stripes would suit an SN95 better... looks like they had them laying around and just pasted them on the car.

speaking of dealers pimping out their rides...World Ford in Kennesaw, GA is the mustang pimped out capital in my book. They had a Red 2006 V6 with 20" chrome wheels, white racing stripes, and GT fog lights (not the pony package). The wheels+tires alone added ~$2700 to the sticker price . The 20" wheels made it looked raised up and a bit ridiculous. During the day it was parked on grass near the street and you couldn't fully appreciate the crazy raised look. That car sat on the lot for at least 3 months.

Actually, alot of stores don't send $100 for referrals. Most do $25 to $50 for a new car.

Overall the car looks good, but that GTR on the side has got to go. The font is terrible on the R especially.

I see a lot of Roush cars here in Virginia. They are either full blown Roush's or have the trunk wing, wheel or hood.

No offense to anyone, but I think that when dealers pull this BS it's a crock.

Here in CA we have the "Limited Edition" Mustang coupe.

Pony Package with a GT rear spoiler, Shaker 500, and 17" chrome wheels. Only 300 to be made.

Dealers...gotta love them.
