Im planning to get a cai with a tune and I was wonder whats the horse power difference using 91 fuel vs 93 ? How much horse power would I be losing if i used the 91 fuel? We only have 91 fuel here where i live.

 

you might lose a few ponies, but not a ton. Maybe 4-5hp??

 

I'd like to know what Doug or one of the other tuners have to say about that. I swapped out my 91 torque for 87 performance to try it out since things are getting tight finacially around here and to be perfectly honest, I don't "feel" any differance beyond the torque tune feeling more touchy on the throttle response.

So I'd say between 91 and 93 I can't imagine the diffrence would be noticable at all, especially since I'm positive tuners generally go safe over agressive on mail order tunes since each car will respond slightly diffrent and that would leave them a margain of error to keep the tunes safe.
