How to remove the manual shift ****.
Can you guys help me on this, or if there is already a thread about this can you please give me a link. Thanks!

It screws off. Spin it counter clockwise to loosen it. Before you do that, remove the boot cover bracket at the base of the shifter. This just pops off. There is a rubber o-ring holding the boot cover to the **** that just slides off once you have the shifter removed.

Thats what I thought first, but wasn't sure and didn't want to force it.
