After some quick math, some people have put down really hefty down payments. My cars sticker was $28,800, no mark up, with $5k down and 4% I'm paying $580/mo.

Tax, licsense, alarm, gap insurance, financing and warrenty brought it up to around $34k total I believe.

Looks like a few people are only financing between $15,000-$18,000. Don't know why anyone with that kind of cash would drop it on a car when you could pay 4% financing and earn higher interest with a 5 year CD on that 12-15 grand

And buying a new car in cash if you have good credit makes even less sense. I'd invest that $30,000. Heck you could use it to buy a home and earn enough equity within the 5 year car loan to pay off your car and buy a few more.

Maybe using it for business and get a write off?

How much is everyone paying for their Mustang? Also did you guys get any incentives (I didn't) ? . I have a Premium GT with everything excet the Shaker 1000. The total came to $29,100 and they wanted $564.00 a month for 60 months. I put some money down and after some negotiations I have it for $307.23 a month for 60 months !! Just curious to see what everone else is paying !!

Matt
Original payment was $399.00, but refinanced at a lower rate (Credit Union 4%). No the payments are $388.00 for 58 payments. No down payment, with negative equity of $500.00. I used an X plan for my V-6 premium package.

Even though I was upside down on my trade, I still feel this may be the best car I've ever purchased (best bang for the buck)
