Visited my dealer tonight. He indicated they've been "delayed" but didn't go into detail about it. Told me straight out they're going for MSRP and there won't be any negotiations with that. There are also 7 other guys waiting for the first load. Looks like I'll be using all 305 I've got in the '97 Cobra to get there before everyone else!

I'm paying $500 less than MSRP (in writing). The dealer is really only making $1000. I don't have a problem with that. He's been great, so far, through this "waiting" ride. All the local dealers wouldn't put an ounce of effort into the 2005. As previously noted, they wanted to sell what they had in stock. I am very satisfied and can't wait to have it!

Printed my X-plan PIN last Friday. I'm going to try to get X-plan pricing from Tommie Vaughn Ford in Houston. If that doesn't work out then I'll just go with the original quote, $300 over invoice.

Joe L, That's a great price!!! Maybe I should have driven to Tommie Vaughn to order mine.
When do the expect yours to arrive?
Do you know how long the waiting list is there?
