I was paying $ 219 every 2 weeks. No money down and got 5.6%. I re-mortgaged my home recently and basically got more $$$ and paid the car off. The mortgage rate is only 4% so it made sense. My monthly payments are way lower now even though I paid off the car.

 

$709.20 car payment 6.89% 60 months plan on paying in 4 years $700.00 down insurance$160.00 a month plus $80.00 month in gas so let's say $950.00 and worth every penny.

+ $140 for insurance

$413 for 60 months at 6% with $7000 down.
$750/6months for insurance (two cars).
$37.50/week for gas.

So I've been paying roughly $1700 per month since I got my car.

I'm saving up for some kind of forced induction and I've stopped spending on all sorts of minor mods. So realistically, from now on, I'm probably spending near $1200 per month on "car related stuff."

Crap that's a lot of money...I'm an idiot.

$480 per month @ 6.75 for 72 months. Rates at my credit union are even high now. I have two other car payments so did 72 months to make payment a little cheaper until wife's van is paid down. Then I'll double up payments and have it paid off in 4 years.

$90 a month insurance (Ill lower coverage and payments next month)
$0 gas (it's in storage)
$150 monthly storage fee (which also includes some furniture and other stuff)

Plus depreciation and taxes.

 

$425 car payment - 60 months
$72 a month insurance
$200 a month gas

$697 total cost a month

 

$314 car payment
$125 insurance (two cars and renters ins.)
$75 Gas
