Ummm... that's what a sunshade is for! It's collapsible, takes all of 2 seconds to put it in the windshield frame - Presto, steering wheel is warm but not too hot to the touch...
With that innovation I can avoid the :gay: gloves at all costs!
Otherwise people might think my 'Stang is really a Miata in drag, and that I'm a "Diego" greaser on the prowl for a date in front of the local high school.

Driving gloves...I thought when I first saw the topic it was a joke.
If your doing some sort of road racing I could see where they would be useful so your not losing your grip from sweaty hands but cruising around, even on long road trips with driving gloves would be goofy.
If it's really cold outside, I could see it, but those would not be driving gloves.

I want to see pics of the people who drive with gloves. Perferably with your gloves on. I'll start it.

Man, harsh! Glad none of the rest of us have ever done anything that was later looked back on as gay, stupid, childinsh, etc. Because I know, judging from all the posts of course, that NO ONE here must have lived through the 70s or 80s and looked like a total idiot at some point in time.

well I dont really want to get in on this topic but in reference to the pic above, the kid not wearing gloves has an arm in a sling, it would be very hard to put gloves on with one hand and so he might very well wear them when his arm isnt out of commision. that said its still very possible that he is indeed gay and/or wears gloves....lol
