I got Saleen HID's a few weeks ago and want to upgrade my fogs so they are brighter. I went to try and install them tonight since it was warm but ran into a problem. It looked like I could just take the grill off without taking the whole front bumper off. The problem I have is that the way the grill is cliped in it doesn't look like it's made to come out without breaking the clips. How do I get around this?

I tried searching for fog light related posts but didn't find anything about the best way to get to the bulbs.

Thanks in advance for everyones help!

There are several posts somewhere on this, but the easy way in my opinion is to pull the radiator top rubber cover off that is held down by 5 or six push pins and set them aside. Reach behind and gently turn the factory driving lights to the left or right, don't remember which way. You reach behind the grill after removing the cover, turn them and slowing pull back. Be very careful so you don't break anything.

I'm sure you know this, but remember not to touch your new bulbs, I put mine in with a piece of old t-shirt around them. Some members say touching them with oil off your skin makes them burn out quicker.

Good Luck........

I looked and couldn't find anything specific to changing the bulbs. There are a ton of posts about the fogs so I'll keep looking. If someone knows of some let me know. Thanks for your help so far.

As I recall, on the post I don't remember where it was, we went round the world on this and then someone said the same thing, when all else fails, check the owner's manaul.

Pretty close it's page 38. I didn't want to have to unbolt the bumper cover but I guess I'll have to.

Thanks everyone

Don't worry about the cover. It is absolute cake. It has five push pins in it. They are the locking type with a center pin that locks the push pin in place. Use a couple of very small flat blade screwdrivers and pull the center pin up (it will come up about 1/4" or so until it stops). After the center pin is up, the whole push pin should pull right out (I usually grab the center pin and pull it and the push pin up and out). The cover slips into a grove at the front, so it has to come back slightly to clear.

Reinstalling it is just as easy. Slide the front into place, align the push pin holes, insert the push pins the push the center pin back down to lock it back in place.
