Well its Aug 25th...where is that baby???

 

I'm still waiting...

I stopped at the dealership on my way home from work last Monday (the day the salesman told me the car would be delivered). Not only was the car not there, he told me the schedule had been "pushed back". He checked on the computer and said that my car actually went on the assembly line that day (Aug 18th). Now the delivery date is set for Sept. 8th.

At least this time he put in a "disclaimer" and said that the car MIGHT take a little longer (or it might come in a little sooner). He said it usually takes 3 weeks between the date they start building and the date of delivery.

What ticks me off is that he originally told me they were delivering the car on 8/18. That was since Ford hadn't even started building the car yet.

And so- the wait continues.

 

Get your vin number and track it! That will tell you if the dealer is telling you the truth or not.

 

Waiting just sucks. I remember all too well.

 

Yeah I remember when mine came in.

I had been tracking it for months and finally the ERL told me it was on its way.

Funny thing is my dealer called me the same day.

She says, "Hey guess what?"

I said, "My car is on the way?"

And she says, "How did you know?"

 

A lot of us waited (I waited 3 months in 2005!).

It's worth the wait!! Hang in there.

 

Yes, we did wait!

I waited from November 05 until April 05!!!

Was it worth it, yes!

 

Those were the days...the "Teri 6"...

She took pics of mine coming off the trailer for me...and going on the enclosed transport a week later that she arranged for only $600 bucks. Now that's a salesperson!

 

Did ya getter' yet? mine shipped on AUGust 11th so it should be arriving at the dealership soon.
