The only 2005 they have is the Windveil blue GT. I was hoping to see V6, but it was a no go. Now, one of the local Mustang clubs has about 20 something older Mustangs there. A couple of Boss 302's and a Boss 429. Some others. The guy at the Lotus area actually let me sit in the Lotus Elise. Freaking size 15 shoes are going to keep me from buying that car...though at 6'3" I fit very comfortably.

Edit: Forgot to mention that I was talking to the lady at the Mustang display and she said not to expect any SE's until 2006. However, she did say there were going to be some really nice Mustangs coming down the line.

Dumb question. Are there a lot of performance cars to see. I will be driving from Austin and would be disappointed to only see SUVs!!!!!

 

There were some Lotus Espirits, the Elise, Ferrari Modenas, Maseratti <sp?>, a Lamborghini, Viper SRT-10 and the Saleen S7. Lots of classic Mustangs with two very nice Boss Mustangs (302 and 429). Still no GTO to sit in though. The C6 Vette was there and I have to say it looks better in person. Front end looks just like the Viper though, even in person. They've got a red Ford GT there. They had the engine compartment and door open when I was there, very sweet. No Enzo that I could see this year.

Check out the Volvo S60R. VERY NICE. Too bad my feet are so huge!

BTW, I lived in Austin for a couple of years. Great town (and I don't mean for the usual "college" reasons).

Also there are A LOT of SUV's! I was really surprised. But the biggest shock I got was the price of the Rubicon Jeep. $29,000!!!! :scratch: :notnice: :angry: That's insane.

 

I really like the Windveil Blue. I just want ot see it in the Convertible with both Tan and Black top.

I'd also like to see the V6 in Sonic Blue... that windevil it a bit light for my tastes...

The shifter looks a bit far away... wonder if its within arms length when resting in the seat or if it requires you to reach over to get to it

(In my Mercedes' it seems like its a bit further back from the dash... could be wrong though)

and the cupholders are a huge plus, mine has none
