Yeah 05! C'mon!

"Ok, so raise it up...higher...great, now keep it there - I'm gonna get a picture..." -click- "Ok, you can lower it now. Those fools at TMS will be posting captions for months. Muhahaha..."

That's a picture of me body surfing one of the greatest spots on earth, "The Wedge" in Newport Beach on a 10-15 foot day. That was taken when I was just a pup.....age 21, June of 1969. I fractured my neck twice body surfing there over the years. That wave breaks in just 3-4 feet of water.

Oh, how I long for my youth and vigor of those days.

Now I get to go watch the guys a Mavericks in Half Moon Bay.

OK guys, sorry for the delay. My modem was barely working last night and I couldn't fill you in on the rest of the story... I almost feel bad posting now that it's been built up so much, you guys had some great headlines!

This car is part of a giveaway from a local radio station B103.9. Every so often you have to call in and be caller 9 and you get entered into a chance to win it in a drawing!

Then, they're going to draw a winner who gets the car.

THEN... there'll be an online survey, where people get to decide whether you Drop It or Drive It!!! That's right, you're going to win the car, and if things don't go well, they're going to DROP IT FROM THE CRANE!!!!!

I can not imagine. That seems like such a waste to those of us who waited months to get our cars. I'll try and keep you posted as to how things turn out.

Enlarge the pic and you'll be able to read the banner.

O crap that would stink if they got the call to drop it.
But I would do a smart thing. I would get the VIN number
and go online and get insurance for it. Then if they drop it
you can get it fixed or replaced. Haha...to bad it would make
you insurance go up. Better safe then sorry.

----added----

Also would be funny if a hugh storm came up and blew the stang off.

Given the moronic, destructive nature of most people now, I would bet Drop-it will be the choice. What a stupid idea. I hate radio stations. Long live MP3's!!

Do you think they could get a permit to drop a car? Probably not. If I was the winner and they dropped it, I'd make resevations at the local state pen as somoene is gunna die!

Nope - you now need an interest in whatever you insure. Insurance companies caught on in the good ol' days when people would draw policies for people headed for the gallows the next day and collect once the hangman had done his thing.

And re the wait we all had - it's a V6, no-one waited for those. I say drop the thing!

(click - "Flame guard activated...")

j/k all ya V6'rs!

I couldn't get a good pic of it, but it's got the dealer accessory stripes on it too.
