Apparently between yesterday and an hour ago I was hit in the rear passenger side of my car...UGH by a RED car owned by some jerk.


Just venting. I am not going to repair it at this point due to cost...and it being a hit and run...

 

That sucks.

At least you can buff out the red. Hopefully it won't look so bad after that.

sorry to see- but thank God it wasnt 1/4 inch higher or forward as it woulda got the metal...close but looks like just plastic damage.

a newtakeoff bumper for a couple hundred (it may need a buff/touchup) and noone will know.

glad they missed the quarter- watch neighborhood for red car with rub mark, and sick the police on them.

 

ouch, that sucks man. but at least its not as bad as it was last time. if this is the mustang i'm thinking of that had the rear bumper replaced.

 

Sorry to hear that. It looks like a lot of paint transfer which you could probably just remove easily.

 

Been there.....my bumper will be repaired in Spring! SUCKS!!!!!! I'm feeling your pain and you'll continue to feel it every time you look at it.

Mine got tagged in a Petsmart parking lot by some douche. went across the rear drivers wheel and the fender in front of and behind the wheel. $2300 repair. I feel your pain man...

Yea! And this is the bumper i just got after replacement for the prior rear ending in July that wasn't even fixed by the lazy horrible shop on September 11. UGH

 

i hate that so much i dont get ppl...i got out of work tonite and someone rammed a shopping cart into her passanger side door, dented and needs to get painted...idk why people have lost all courtesy and respect for others...so sad

 

I hate to say it but I've got one of those on the other side too. People are dicks...

At least when I got the fender fixed from the hit and run they simultaneously fixed the three door dings my wife put in it with her car...

My wife put a massive dent in the door of my old Ranger pick up. I parked on the street of a cul-de-sac to go to a birthday party. It was the only spot available. And before I could warn her that there was a mailbox clearly visible outside her door and please don't hit it. She flung open the door and slammed it right into the mailbox.

Of course it was my fault for parking near a mailbox. At least that's what she tells me.

 

I can NOT stand people who do things like that. My 2009 Mustang we bought in Feb of 09 has been hit & nicked numerous times. The 1st time someone dented it was about 2 weeks after we got it. Someone even backed into the front of the car where the front license plate goes & left a 1/2 moon shape hole in it with what looks like a trailer hitch. And not 1 person has left a note or anything.

My 2005 was hit in the parking lot of the truck stop I was working at & at least the guy came in & told me. He caught my front bumper with the corner of a car hauling trailer on the 26 foot u-haul truck he was in. They had insurance through u-haul so u-haul paid for it to be fixed. 3 weeks later another guy backed into the brand new front bumper & drove off so now my new "free" front bumper had unbuffable scratches in it. And since changing jobs from the convience store to the $Tree I have been given at least 3 new door dings from other aholes.

But I believe that you get what you give. And these people will eventually get what they deserve because Karma is a Bit(h.....

 

Sorry to hear it. I'm try to always park really far away from everyone, but it's not always possible. I'm always scared that the same thing is going to happen to me. I hate when I park at the very end of a lot where no cars are around and when I come out someone is freakin parked right next to me. 20 other open spaces around, but no......they have to park right next to me

 

Stinks man, hope you filed a police report. My parents had a car hit, filed the report... few days later I saw a vehicle matching the color of the paint rub, had a cop look at it and we could match the paint transfers and lines on both vehicles... the ppl tried to be douches but eventually admitted they did it.

 

I got rearended at a traffic light and the b!t@h drove off. No real damage except to the bumper cover. May be a good excuse to get a GT/CS bumper or something different.
