It's most definitely Windveil Blue. I've looked at that picture for a couple of years now. It's the reason I have a Shaker and if I had a WB car, it would look EXACTLY like that car. Quite literally the best tribute to older Mustangs I may have ever seen. Glad you found the pic of it. I don't think I've ever seen any others, but I'd sure like to...

I agree, must have just been a typo. Any other pics of this car would be great! Thanks for finding this!

Not necessarily. While it appears to be Windveil Blue, I do know the Tungsten cars change colors depending on the lighting. Ours can look lavender at times, grey at others and blue at other times, depending, again, on lighting, cloudy skies, fluorescent lighting, etc.

Here's a link to the company that does the mods;
http://www.auto-design.ca/showroom/Bossbleu.htm
They won't sell parts or stripe kits though, I've asked them

WOW! thank you so much for sharing this... its exactly what i was looking for! I think i'm confident that this is WV Blue too. This is what i'll be going after when I start modifying my car. I'm in the market for a WV blue stang now.

Thanks again!

This is as close you'll find for just the stripe kit;

Bit pricy for vinyl, but it's the closest 70 Boss style kit I've seen.

Depending upon your monitor settings PC's interpet colors differently. It is my understanding that MAC's are a bit more consistent with colors.

Try this site too:

http://graphic-express.com/k_boss_stripes.asp

Not nearly as expensive and close to the BOSS but missing the pinstripes..

Hey RMB. Is that your car in your prof? If so, what is the purpose of the splitters for the lights? Have only seen em a few times and forgot to look into if they actually helped or if it was merely a cosmetic mod? I think they look pretty sweet tho. Where did you get them/price?

Thanks bud.
