I have tape adhesive marks on each fanblade - came like that from the factory, don't know what they had taped to them. Anyway, it's just like the stuff left behind after you remove scotch tape from something after it's been on for awhile. It's also a bit yellow, so it's obvious. I've tried gently acraping it off with a fingernail, but it's too sticky. I don't want to scratch the rims. Any suggestions?

WD-40 worked great for removing the gunk left on my hood from removing my Xenon scoop. Let it sit on there for a few minutes.

It's safe on the clearcoat? (I believe the fanblades are clearcoated).

I had the same things on my 64W's, little patch of sticky adhesive.

I used a little bit of Goo Gone, removed it no problem.

WD-40 is great for stuff like this. Just don't every try to use it as a lubricant! It's not...

"goo-gone" or "Goof-Off", both work good, I used the Goof-Off on my fanblade wheels, had the same tape residue...came right off with no problem!
