Ok i did not know where to put this so i am going to post this here. I am in the proccess of the buying a Shelby but i do not know which to buy. I could go with a 427 S/C AC Cobra or a Cobra Daytona Coupe, but i do not know which to get. On one hand we have an iconic peice of automotive history with the 427 that everyone knows about and almost everyone wants. On the other hand i love the Daytona, but not that many people know about it, but it has just as much race history as the 427. What do you guys think and which would you buy.

 

Daytona. Though how could you go wrong either way.

I suppose the AC Cobra would be better for driving on a nice day. But I don't think either are very comfortable.

 

well the new ones both have A/C now and both have the new Roush engines with tremec transmissions and the new Shelby/baer disc brakes. But i know what you mean.

 

I think the Daytona is just a cooler car, and becides it looks like a racecar.

 

I personally like the Daytona Coupe, but I also personally don't like convertibles. So really depends how important it is to you for open top or not.

 

Come on, be a big time balla' and get one of each.

 

I love the Daytona.... but I HATE its rear end.. its so empty and un-interesting... Id do the Cobra.

 

lol i wish, at the price they are going for i would barely be able to get one. I want them in an aluminum body, not that fiberglass stuff so the price is higher than normal.
