Headlight help

I installed HID's about a year and a half ago and now all of a sudden, when I hit the unlock on the remote both head lights come on. When I get in the car and start the car and manually turn the headlights on, the passenger side doesn't fire up. I have to turn the car off and restart it for the passenger light to come on.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Has your SJB gotten wet lately, it can cause all kinds of weird electrical things to happen if it does ...

Try swapping the hid bulbs to the opposite side and see if the problem moves with that bulb to the other side. If so, probably your bulb. If not it could be a bad ballast or bad ground. HIDs are sensitive about good ground connections. But I'm thinking it's the bulbs. I had a similar problem with my fog lights

Check for water in the passenger side carpet, that's usually an indication that the SJB got wet.

Feel free to call us if you need help troubleshooting: (314) 205-3033

Even if it's not our kit, we have a lot of experience and will try to get your current kit working again.

I suggest checking your connections for corrosion and installing an HID relay if you haven't already

Thanks!

The passenger side is nice and dry but I'm gonna swap the bulbs around Monday when it's finally nice enough too and I'll report back
