headlight cover pitting?
With the headlights on I noticed my clear plastic covers look a little pitted. With only 3800 miles I wonder what it'll look like with 40,000!?
I did drive to Las Vegas, but I don't remember a sand storm and I wasn't driving THAT fast. Is there a clear film I can apply?....before it gets worse? I wonder if they can be replaced.
(My 1st "complaint"....pretty minor!)

Check these guys out. They have a clear laminant as well as colored laminants to protect the lights from this very problem. In fact they offer two types of clear, one being 20 mils thick and the other 40 mils.

They are also the cheapest I have seen so far.
BTW welcome to the site Edward.

I got the kit, installed it yeaterday but I think they gave me the wrong ones. There weren't any Foglight covers and the headlight covers are off. Did I install them upside down/backwards or is the headlight "bucket" different on V6 models?
Because of some sap or other residue I clayed the hood and fender yesterday too, and rewaxed..........all nice and smooth again!
