2005-2009 Mustang Information on The S197 {Gen1}

Have we already seen the 2007 SVT?

I started thinking about the GTR concept, and wondered if Ford put it out there to guage our response to its styling because they were thinking about using styling cues from it for the next SVT (whatever it may be called). I remember the Bullitt was a concept, then turned into a production car. Thoughts?

but its more a Cobra R than Cobra....

So possibly a tonned down version...

As long as the GTRs 'split' headlight cover is available sometime, I'll be plenty happy.

I agree with Boomer, probably more Cobra R'esque than Cobra, or perhaps a neo-Boss 302 type car as that was originally developed as a street version of the Trans Am racers.

The Cobra proper, on the other hand, will likely aim for a much more refined approach, both in terms of all around capabilities (handling, braking, ride as much as simple straight line), styling and features -- more of a BMW M approach.

This would be schweet. Take the GT-R... drop the wing and add a ducktail... use the concept hood exactly as it appears on the concept... and I'll let Ford decide on the wheels and whether or not the hood should be black.

Oh yes, keep the Valencia orange! THERE... that's my perfect SE.

SVT is basically the concept, most likely modified to look like this one:

Body color breakaways, low mounted round fogs, toned down look....

Shelby will get the more wild stuff like stripes and retro pieces
