Yup good point enough that it is getting so bad that in Canada by at least 2007 I think all new vehicles have to have an imobilizer built in , I think they mean with out the right key from the owner that it aint going anywhere and if it does ? can you account for your keys, I beleve the Gov't want people to be more responsible for their cars etc as the damages and death related to a stolen vehicles , so they went to the Auto industrie. I'll post the article if I find it again .

Hey I heard Canada is on the verge of making the "seat belt law a felony".
Blame Canada!
Just a problem with some jerk giving the stang a few key marks over the right rear wheel well. Like to find the creep and dip him in a well. I would not call the cops just deal with the creep myself. Doubt if he would be able to hold another key...ever.

Man, that brings back memories! I've always had a soft spot in my head for old Chrysler products. Heck, if they'd have brought out the Charger in a 2-door, I might have waited for that!!!

When i get my '07 Shelby, the car will only be out of my sight when it's parked in my garage.

Yup. My wife stole it Friday night for "girls night out"
Thankfully, she returned in unharmed -- but this is the third time she has parked at home with the rear tire AGAINST the CURB! Why she feels she needs to back up to get closer to the curb amazes me :bang: She hasn't messed up the rim YET
I tell ya, she's lucky I love her or I would have to kick her ASCII! Not really, but it still irks my chain

I recall reading a story on one of these forums a while back about someone having their Mustang broken into while parked in the parking lot of a shooting range. If I recall correctly the individual indicated that the crooks took the registration out of the vehicle but I don't recall of they stole anything else.
I don't remember many more of the details but it struck a chord with me since the owner was at the range shooting. Personally I'd think any crook with half a mind would be nuts to steal from someone they know to be armed.

They did snag the envelope with all my registration and purchase info in it. I had the car for two weeks. Funny thing is that I got a call fromt he dealership I bought the car from saying that somebody mailed the whole thing back. Apparently the thieves dropped it when the realized no money was in it and somebody found it and sent it back. Very lucky for me. Nothing was missing.
I went back a few days later and watched the surveillance video. In broad daylight, two black guys got into my baby in 13 seconds flat. I timed it. I felt so much hatred and disgust when I watched that video of them. I wanted to beat the poo outta them like no tomorrow. Unfortunately I couldn't make out the plate. It doesn't matter if its locked or has an alarm, they will get inside. Don't leave anything visable out lads....just my advice.
Good advice and thanks my son said dad don't you always tell mom outta site outta mind and he was saying why did I leave my Dell jukebox mp3 just lying in the cup holder ? Kids gotta love them
