2006 Pony Package Prices
#1
Any ideas on the price of a V6 with and without the pony package versus the price of a GT? Also, is Ford going to release a performance mustang between the GT and Shelby editions? Thanks!!!

I can tell you what the Pony Option costs. $1395.00 sticker. I picked up for $1295.00.
If you read the option sheets on this site, you will note that you can only get the option if you order the Premium model. So, add the Pony Package to the price of a Premium V6.
All vehicle pricing is subject to the deal you can make, however, the V6 Pony is quite a bit less expensive than the GT. What you basically have in the Pony is a GT without the V8.
You will pay approximately 4k less for the Pony.

Dave, the sticker for the Pony package is $1195.
For 2006, Ford debuts the new "Pony Package" on V-6 coupe and convertible "Premium" models. At a Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $1,195, the Mustang V-6 "Pony Package" offers tremendous performance value...

does the pony package get the same, identical brakes as the gt? if it does, then the pp is a drop dead great deal. i thought it was great with the bigger rims and tires, the rear sway bar and the fogs...better brakes would be....better!! jackg 90seville 97k

I ran my 2006 choices by ISELLFORD so I could do battle with my local dealers.
Ed gave me a printout that shows the Pony Package is indeed $1195 MSRP, $1064 Invoice.
