How do you think a 2005 GT 'vert will look in Mineral Grey paint with red leather interior?

Anybody up for a chop?

 

I had a friend who had a RX7 back in the 80's and its was kinda a grey metallic color,and it had grey/red cloth seats,and it looked real good...ill goog to see if i can find a pic...

 

I think that would be a very nice combo. The cool, machined look the Mineral Gray lends the exterior is nicely contrasted by the warm red hues of the interior. My only concern is that, at least in some of the pictures, the red interior looks a little to bright artificial, lacking a deeper, more natural reds I would want from real leather as opposed to vinyl. But that's just the pictures in which colors can be way off from reality.

Thw Mineral grey they had at the Innovation drive had the upgrade interior... Looked great ... almost wanted to change my order.

Its not soo bright in person,,,,has a darker tone to it IMO,,,,,

I didnt know what to think about it at first either,,,,but once i saw it in person,,,, it really impressed me

 

I think the red looks awsome in the Mineral Grey but it just isn't my deal to be that flashy. I ordered the med parchment interior because my style is more subdued and leaning toward the sophisticated look rather than the racey look.

 

I hope it looks good...I ordered one. I'm going to put the black gran touring stripes down the center and am definately getting the Cervini Eleanor kit...probably new wheels first though. Red leather is classic, all the other colors, in my opinion, are too boring.

i have a phone that looks mineral gray, and the buttons light up red. i love that combo

 

i think mineral grey and red would look great especially with red sripes

 

I am considering that combo and I think it looks great. I also want pearl white Shelby stripes on mineral gray, but having red interior and white stripes would look kind of weird...two different contrasting colors.

 

This is my daily driver. Color is called Gris Hologramme, which is almost the same as Mineral Grey. And it has red leather. I have yet to meet the first person that doesn't like that combo B)

Thats the 2004 Renault Mégane CC right?...

Do they sell Renault's in the US? I haven't seen one that looks like that.

 

Yep, it's a relatively new model. Deliveries only started this year March. It's got one of them SLK style retractable hardtops, which is ideal for an everyday car. CC actually stands for Coupe-Cabriolet, cuz it is both in one. Here it is with the roof up:



Renault is not available in the US btw, they have retracted from that market a long time ago.

 

I drove a Mineral Grey with red interior coupe. Looks very VERY shrap. Almost wanted to go to the dealership and put an 05 on order.

 

I think the color combo looks great.

Unfortunately, since Ford is under severe pressure to hold the selling price where it is, the Renault's or Mercedes' retractable top would of been good for Ford to benchmark. It is a nice refinement over the rag top.

 

Mineral Gray with Parchment Leather would look cool.
