GT Owner 5 weeks later

I've had my '07 GT for about 5 weeks now and I wish I could drive her more. I've put 1,100 miles on her so far, mostly work and errands. I did find time to cruise last Sunday down the Pacific Coast Hwy. (beach) here in L.A. and that was great. I really realize how much fun the car is whenever I remember to punch it a little. Otherwise, the car is pretty good for a daily driver. I've only spun the wheels once so far and haven't even redlined it yet. The car has an amazing amount of power and I love getting on the freeway. The exhaust note is the best part. I always have the windows down. I need to make it a point to let her loose (safely) a little. Anyway, still very satisfied with my car. Love the color combo, fanblades, spoiler delete, and IUP premium interior. no problems to speak of. I spend alot of time looking at the car when it's parked. Can't believe how it's able to look fast even when still. It's got an aggressive stance. Here are a couple of pics from this weekend. Put a coat of McGuires NXT on her and was ready to go. Thanks

Just add a CAI and a SCT tune and you'll really appreciate it's potential.

Nice car Morris! The NXT will keep her good looking for a long time - that's what I use too. Use Lexol on the leather to keep that nice. Good luck with it!

Isn't it funny that when you park the Stang and walk away you always look back.

Nice car, It is amazing what a different look the GT has with out a spoiler. Sometimes I go to the garage... oop's I mean the Stang Stable , for no reason other than to just look at my Stang!.. The Legend Lives! ....Good Luck!...

I'm so jealous of those that got the spoiler delete they wanted. If I had ordered mine (had to take from dealer stock for 0%) I would have definitely gotten the spoiler delete. I think it looks so much cleaner and have always thought the '94 to '07 spoilers looked like shopping cart handles.

Well one way to look at it is if you already have the spoiler and you decide to switch to the GT500 ducktail, the holes are already drilled out for you.

Congrats MorrisMustang! Glad to see you're enjoying her. Love your color/tire/spoiler-delete choices. Of course, I'm a little biased.

It's too late for this car, but anyway, the owner's manual says to vary the RPMs during break-in. That means all the way up to redline. Just an FYI.

Spoiler delete was the primary reason I ordered my GT. I'm thrilled with the look.
